Quick and Healthy Meals

If you're not cooking for a large crowd, you can use an indoor grill to cook fresh meat and veggies in a fraction of the time it would normally take you to cook in the oven, and without the added heat in the hot summer months.

If you are cooking for a larger crowd, you can do the same using an outdoor grill.

If you can take a day for cooking, you can make double or even triple batches of some of your favorite recipes.
You could use one batch as the evening's meal, and freeze the rest in portion sizes of your choosing.

You could divide them to use as full family meals, or half them into individual portions to freeze up as individual lunches, or for days when everybody cannot eat at the same time.

The advantage here is that anyone can grab one of their favorites out of the freezer and eat it without anybody having to cook additional food.

A fast, easy and still healthy recipe is to take deli sliced turkey breast and baby spinach leaves. Spread the turkey with good mustard and sprinkle with the spinach leaves, roll up just as they are.

You can serve these with chopped, raw veggies and make it a finger food kind of meal. The kids will love it, and we won't tell them that it's healthy.  :)
